A Vintage Super Bowl Sunday
Rah-rah for the home team! This week everybody’s a sports fan while we celebrate the vintage roots of America’s Super Bowl phenomenon. The first Super Bowl game was held January 15, 1967, at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The Kansas City Chiefs battled the Green Bay Packers for the Championship which is now in it’s 50th year.

We give three cheers to any and all vintage athletic-wear, including football fashion paraphernalia and sports-themed fabric prints or accessories. VFG Members score in this Parade with football-oriented items, but all other competitive sports are welcome: athletic footwear, saddle shoes, lettermen sweaters, jerseys, helmets, uniforms, track suits, golf & basketball garb, caps, scarves, jewelry and sport-themed trinkets for men and women, alike.
