Anyone know anything about men's outerwear?

I found this at a thrift store today and I am TOTALLY clueless when it comes to men's clothing. Could anyone help me date it? The labels are sewn in the pocket - was this a common thing?

I tried to search Happ but the only things that came up were newspaper advertisements from the 1950s.

I don't have a male mannequin so it's being shown on a female one which may not display it that well!

    Thanks :)

I have found some vintage menswear with the labels in the pockets.

I'm seeing 1950s on this., especially with that chunky Talon zipper Love the ribbed cuffs and collar and soft plaid.

Nice find! I'm seeing more like early 60s.

The label is in the pocket because it is reversible - you can see the zip has two handles as well and it has pockets with edging inside (inside pockets on non-reversible wear tend to be self-fabric bound or just turned over). :)

Thanks all :) I never even thought about it being reversible! How fun!
