Hi all picked up this funky little suit and wondered whether anyone knew anything about Maggi Shepherd? also, it seems like the top half is a jacket (it’s lined and made of a relatively stiff linen type material) but I just wondered what someone would wear underneath in the 60s/70s? I’m assuming it’s 69s, but happy to be corrected! Sorry about the slightly crumpled nature of the pictures - too excited to steam before sharing! many thanks Impey
I think 1960s, and the top would have been worn like a blouse - not like a jacket that you would take off. In sewing patterns they call this kind of set a "two-piece dress".
