Are these 2 labels (GiBi/Gibi) from the same designer/company?

I have a heavy virgin wool dress that appears to have been made in the 60s that has the first label you see posted below. While searching for a time period my dress may have been made, I keep finding clothing with the second label posted below, Gibi Roma. Can anyone tell me if these labels are by the same company or designer but from different time periods? I can't find much history for either label. Also, since Gibi reminds me so much of Gianni Bini, I wondered if there was a connection?

According to Trademarkia, first use of Gibi was in 1961 and they stopped in 2005. The trademark was owned by Gregg Inc., Beverly Hills.
