Hi all! Recently purchased these and was told they’re 1930s, but i wanted to double check that as the metal zipper and pinked seams threw me off.
Also are these technically bloomers? Thanks in advance!!

They are not hot pants. Likely they're little 'panties' a majorette or tap dancer or other performer would wear under their ensemble so they can kick and jump without showing things. lol

Do you happen to have a close up zipper of the zipper? Tab and the coil? Thanks!

thanks so much! here’s some more photos.

The SERVAL zipper looks very like THIS 1950s one (not my listing).
I agree with Cin, definitely not hot pants, and yes to majorette/performer panties. And your panties look home- or seamstress-sewn, not mass-produced. Possibly made by a loving mother of the performer!

thank you Donna! I was certain they were 1950s or potentially late 40s. But the seams made me think 50s until she told me they were 30s
