5. Condition: Mostly unused, with one small stain on one pink button bow. Torn paper tag.
6. Notable details: As described in the Nashville Banner in 1943, The Original Button Bows by Babé are an ounce of fluff with a carload of appeal! Suggested uses for these wardrobe fresheners, besides buttoning on buttons: hat trims, pinned on a plain dress, tucked in a pocket. You will think of more. A very imaginative flourish from the very inventive war years of the 1940s. This original set includes pink and black lace and chartreuse eyelet pique—all cotton. I believe only the pink set has been used. Includes the paper shown. Note: The center holes are small and will only fit over small buttons. Also, the lace button bows (pink and black) are soft and can fold down when worn, as shown in final photo.

5. Condition: Very good condition. The brass spacer beads have darkened due to age, but do not have any green verdigris. A very few of the “pearls” have pinpoint loss of nacre, but not noticeable when worn, and not at all significant.
6. Notable details: This is a classic Miriam Haskell necklace, which has a 16” wearable length. The cream-colored faux pearls are smaller on the shorter length than the fatter “pearls” on the longer strand. Has a J clasp.
