Help, I found this purse and can not identify anything like it or even the time frame. The only marking is from where it was sold out of Baltimore Md... I believe the store name is Sorelle ( I could be wrong and have tried many spellings as can't quite make out tag). It is blue Suede, frame bag, kissing locks, heavy duty chain. There are no marks what so ever on any of the metal and only one inside is the label I can't quite make out. Please help me date or if anyone has any ideas on anything. I have just never seen a purse quite like it.

Hi,

Long shot here and probably of little use but the logo, stylized Native Head Wear or carving incorporating a Totem Pole???

I did not see that. However I am trying to get a friend who does photography to edit the label so that it's legible. There is wear and it's light gold lettering so hard to read.

I wouldn't think so just as it's Baltimore and I'm not aware of any history in the area of native Americans. (I'm from va and we have lots of history here) but southern va not in dmv which I have lived in for 25 years or so.

Your lovely purse is very similar to one of my own. Mine is 1960s, made of very dark brown suede leather, with a similar shaped frame, chunky chain, and exact same kiss clasp. On mine, hanging from the frame at the top of a gold metal tassel.
