I wonder if it post-dates 2017 when the company was purchased. It doesn't look like any label for BCBG I've seen or could find online.

There are no other labels and I thought since the one beneath the BCBG label was fadrd thst this might be a vintage dress

BCBG goes back to the 1980s, mid, but I am not familiar with the earliest labels.

Different label than anything we have in our label resource... on the other hand, the style, the fabric to me look like something from within the last 20 years.

The label reads Bon Chic Bon Genre. The label looks like it would be from sometime in the last 20 years to me too.
It would help to see a photo of the whole dress to help dating it better.
