It's the dreaded pea soup green ~

What's a more... appetizing way of describing the color? Also, the gold print - it's reminding me of a block-type print. Yes?

    All comments and suggestions welcome!

    TIA,

Here's the green color list from the eBay thread we did yeas ago.

GREEN - Jade, Kelly Green, Crystal Green, Chartreuse, Olive, Shamrock, Caribbean Green
peacock feather green (bluegreen) - parrot feather green - emerald - green the color of fresh picked limes - key lime green - chartreuse - acid green (both these are yellow greens) - peridot (this is not a french word; the final "t" is pronounced, not silent) - turquoise green - St Patrick’s day green - grass green -green the color of the grass of a well-watered suburban lawn, golf course, etc - a full, rich green redolent of the color of the trees of late summer seen from a distance (almost hunter green)-khaki - Celery Green, Alpine, Mystic, Teal, Chive, Seafoam, Jadestone, Boxwood, Moss, Spinach, Evergreen, Canton, Alps,

I'm terrible with colors, but it looks Chartreuse to me.

Oh, it's a great dress, btw. I think I like her Punk label stuff best of all her labels.

You know I did consult the color list - it's still tacked to to the top of the VC&A board. I consult it all the time, as a matter of fact :)

Glimmering avocado makes me laugh, I don't know why. Must be because avocados seem like pretty stodgy old fruits... that's making me laugh too, but at least I know why!

You know Lizzie, it really is a muted chartreuse - by jove, I think you (and now I) have got it! Thanks!

    :)

    Man!
Carolyn - I sold the same dress last year. I think I called it dark chartreuse. It was a toss up between that & Exorcist Green. ;)

But yours has a bolero with it! Lucky girl, you!

I can't remember what I got for mine - I think it was in the $25 range - maybe $30?
I DO remember is that I got it for One Buck, so I was happy with the profit.

Really cool dress. Can't help with the color beyond what everyone else has said. I guess "bile" wouldn't be a good choice? :) I love this color, but can't wear it myself, it makes me look completely ill.

LOL @ 'bile green' - but for my money nothing tops the 'color name' a friend came up with for something pale whiteish grey with the barest hint of pink...

    Veal.

    :D
