Well, this is going to be a one time try. I love this dress, but I can't justify keeping it since I have others I prefer, so up on the auction block it goes...

No provenance unfortunately, it had gone through too many hands before I got it, so any info was lost.

Is that your new mannequin you had to do some work on? Love it.
 
i see you have the bonnet -- so far.
the mannequin is not the one i bought recently. it is a goldsmith, which are the same ones the MET uses...they cost a bloody fortune!
 
jonathan, i've been meaning to ask you about your manniquin...where did you purchase it? i found a source for these manniquins years ago on the web, but i'm not sure i could find it now.
