Please try to get a little closer image of the mark and the number on the brooch. (Or write out the number in a post. ) The Brunialti books date Boucher's work. I will try to look it up for you. .
This piece dates to post 1955 because of the copyright mark. Thank you for clarifying the number. I found your piece - one of our members has it for sale on her website in a different colorway:
In trying to search the number on your brooch, I did find the exact same brooch that you have, but it had been sold and there was no information. The one that Linn posted the link to has the same number, but must be a variation of your lovely brooch as it has a stem and different stones. I'm sure that number could have been used for several versions of the brooch.
and when you google the number on your brooch you can see another brooch that has the faux turquoise glass beads very similar to yours on gem.app but it's been sold and you can't see the details. boucher pin 6902
Thank you both so much for your help. It still is a mystery to me, that date of the brooch. I did find the exact same one on eBay that was sold, so I emailed the lady that sold it and perhaps she can help me. Thank you again. Cheers. Janice. This is a picture of the one on Ebay
I think Linn was correct with the date as the number indicates these pieces were designs from the mid to possibly late 1950s. Your brooch is from the 1950s.
