BTW...as far as bride articles and customs...i am VERY up on the ancient originations of particular customs that carry through til now, but what is the story about saving the top of the wedding cake and eating it a year later? and which culture is that from. Does anyone know?

Maybe frigidaire invented it to promote their freezers in the 1940s.
