Can anyone identify anything about this bag please?

Hi, I’m from the UK. I’ve had this bag for years now. I believe I got it from a vintage market. I recently found it in storage. I’d love to know if anyone could roughly date it, or tell me what the printed icon-like tiles are called to help me research it.
It has no markings or labels. I’m thinking 1920-30s. It’s quite small. It’s made of suede, very rigid with a strong frame. Inside it has a satin type lining with 2 small pockets each side. It’s pulled apart by holding the frame and the pull tab on the front. The little tiles depict possibly Chinese images but not sure. The other side is the same but the tiles are slightly different and there’s no pull tab.
Could anyone give advice on how to clean it also? It looks worse under the light.
Thank you. C.

I haven't seen a bag quite like this. What are the little tiles made of? Are they literally tile?

You can use a vacuum cleaner to clean the interior of the bags, and to remove dust from the exterior of the bag.

Suede can be brushed with a suede brush or rough towel. Suede is not as sturdy as smooth leather, and it will easily absorb dirt, moisture, and oils. If you have a small, dry stain to remove from suede, you can start by softly scrubbing it with a cloth or art gum eraser. Be gentle and don’t dig a hole in the suede’s nap, but do loosen the stain, and raise the nap that might have been stuck down with the stain.

Oh thank you for your reply and advice. That’s very useful. I’ve done lots of research and have seen similar tiles on Victorian, Edwardian and particularly French clutch bags and they call them ‘medallions’. But only one or two, never rows like that. The medallions look like maybe resin or ceramic and are painted, or pictures stuck on and a varnish over? It is difficult to tell as they are so tiny. The bag is more of a large purse or tiny clutch bag.
I do hope someone might know. I have spent hours and hours searching images online with no luck. Thanks again.
