Can someone help date this jumpsuit?

Was wondering if anyone could date this jumpsuit for me. It's very well made (lot of hand stitching inside) in a silk crepe fabric. Totally lined, pinked seam edges, hem tape, back metal zipper, and has a row of rhinestones down each pant leg. Very dressy jumpsuit with a label that says "Nettie Milgrim". I don't know who she is and cannot find any information on her, nor can I figure out what era it's from. Any ideas? Thanks!

It looks almost disco but some of the description and some features have me believing early 60's.

    Its very pretty!!

Especially with the metal zipper I would have to agree on the early 60's.

Can't help you on a date for sure, but I think it would make such a lovely outfit for maybe a Captains Dinner on a cruise vacation.

I think early 60s is too early for pants that are this fitted, and that are obviously meant for formal wear.

Without thinking about the construction details and the metal zipper, it looks mid to late 70s. Not everyone stopped using metal zippers, and not everyone was finishing seams with a serger at that time.

I agree with Justine - cute for a cruise.

Thanks everyone for your help! It does kind of remind me of 70's, but the metal zipper confused me too. Love the idea of the cruise wear angle. Will definitely use it my description.

Well, I'm going to stick my neck out and say 80's. That's what the blouson effect says to me. And sequins and rhinestones were so popular then. The metal zipper wasn't rare then.

Yikes, now I'm getting confused again! I guess it could be 80s. I always think of jumpsuits from that time as having a more tapered ankle. with a gathered waist and big shoulder pads, but that might not necessarily always be the case. I guess I'll have to hang on to it for a while till I do more research. Had to pay a small fortune to have it dry cleaned. Hope I can recoup!
