Linn Super Moderator Staff member VFG Past President Feb 25, 2020 #2 Probably 1950s. What does the lining look like if it's lined?
poppysvintageclothing VFG Member Staff member VFG Past President Feb 25, 2020 #3 It looks 40s to me, does it have small shoulder pads?
claireshaeffer VFG Member Feb 28, 2020 #5 I should never post a photo without the garment in hand. It isn't where I thought it was "filed" so I'll have to look for it. Yes, it is lined, but I don't think it has shoulder pads. I am in awe of how you keep up with your inventory. I have some order, but it obviously isn't good enough. C

Vinclothes Alumni + Mar 13, 2020 #7 I also see 1940's. Is there evidence that shoulder pads were removed/ Or maybe it was to be worn over a dress that had shoulder pads.

Jonathan VFG Member Mar 14, 2020 #8 I have seen gold leather or oilcloth appliques on velvet dresses before from that late 30s/early 40s period.

claireshaeffer VFG Member Mar 14, 2020 #9 No, it doesn't appear to have had shoulder pads. Jonathan, thanks, C
