Changing Directions at Repeat Vintage

Hi there guys...

Okay I have had my own website for almost 3 years now. But things in my life are changing and happening.
After the first of the year, I will be moving and starting a new job all in the same month.
I am afraid though with all this change going on that maintaining a website, 3 kids, moving and a new job is going to be more then I can manage. I will really have every other weekend to devote to doing the vintage selling.

I was checking into the ebay store, Babylon Mall and some other sources to selling but won't take up a good chunck of my time.

I know you guys have some of the above ventures and would love your input of pros and cons on each. Or if you have any suggestions for me to check out also.

Thank you so much for everything. :headbang:

Jamie, you sound like you are already being superhuman!

A managed (by someone else) store sounds like a good idea, plus you should be able to transfer all your stock over from your website that you already have listed.

Ebay store worked OK for me but I haven't investigated Babylon myself. I would think fees might be better for you outside of ebay. Is Main Street Vintage the other mall affair that I have seen a few members recommending on the trade boards? Worth checking them all out and comparing fees/ease of use I guess.

Good luck with the new job!

I dont know about being superhuman but looking back over the past couple of months I sure have felt like I was. But that energy is almost running on empty...

I saw something about main street vintage this morning on myspace. Will add that on my list to check out. Thank you.

I just had a look at your webs site and it look great!
One thing I did thing I noticed is that it is all in html from my previous experiences this takes a lot of time on it's own without taking into account the time sorting out and photographing the clothes.
Something that might in the future be worth considering is a web site that uses another programing language like php this is maintained online with a simple form to fill in which is very quick to add and remove items from the site.
