Hello!

I recently purchased this 3 piece Chloé set and would love more information on who was designing at the time this was produced. I’m thinking Karl Lagerfeld his first round there simply by the tag. I’m curious to know what season it was made for or if it ever made a runway appearance. Thanks!

Not an expert in Chloé but based on what I can tell, the style looks likely late 1970s/early 80s to me, which could totally overlap with KL tenure. That said, if I'm just looking at the tags and size, I'd have guessed early 2000s, so I'm not throwing a high level of confidence here without better pictures. Are there any other tags? Do you have a sense of what fabric it is? Could you post a photo with it modeled or on a dress form?

You might have to hit the books and check RTW collections from that time period. Unfortunately, there's not much else I can see that helps narrow the date. You might get a lucky hit with google lens search if you get a photo of the set on a dress form or model. FWIW it appears made in or distributed in Japan (which tracks with anything from the 1970s to 2014, given the care tag).
