Saturday is a work day for me, but I'm scheduling around it so I can go in the morning. Anyone else in the L.A. area going??

Thank you for the birthday greeting! I am seriously going to have to beg for this for my birthday, as I really want to go. We are both working so hard now and Saturdays are always work days for us, but we are our own bosses and it IS my birthday that day dammit! And I gave up my past 2 Saturdays for his book related events and so he owes me.

As soon as I know if I am going, I will write here and let everyone know. And bring my camera if they let me take shots. A meet up sounds groovy!
 
As someone that had depression parents this story speaks to me on so many levels.

A true snapshot of true adoration of the love of his life. His wife. Priceless.
I do hope he makes tons of money off of the auctions to hush the naysayers.
The level of things he must of endured and overcame make me feel blessed to be in the same world with
a human of such caliber.

He attached himself to beauty to overcome ugliness. I completely get it.
 
Ok, I am not going, even though it is only a 20 minute drive from my studio. Sigh. Maybe next time.

On the bright side, my sweetheart told me he has a "secret day and evening" all planned for me so I am sure to have a great birthday.

Is anybody else thinking of going? I am wondering if all the really good eye candy has been sold to the dealers who have looked through it already and cherry picked it all.

Still, it would be great fun to play!
