Corset/Garter Belt/Panty Girdle? 50s or 60s?

    I've been listing these as panty girdles, but this would technically be a garter, no?
    I'm leaning to 50s on this one...any thoughts?

    Yes. 1950s. Technically, this is an open bottom girdle with garters.

    I think it might be 1960s era. My mom had one just like it back then. And it seems as if it was worn with shorter (but not short) skirts? It is a nice one, love the black ones!

    This is actually 1950s. I know the label. They weren't shorter because of the skirt length but to give a certain shape to that wiggle skirt. Wonderform foundations were very popular in the 50s when ladies wanted that glamour after rationing and scrimping.

    I guess my mom bought it in the 1950s and kept wearing it in the 60s. Makes sense. She had amazing legs, too.

  6. Agree with Cin: open bottom girdles. They were popular in the '50s and '60s.
