Does anyone know how to get creases out of crimplene? Usually all my 1960s crimplene is crease free without any effort... but I have this one suit and no matter how many times I wash it, steam it and iron it I can't get the creases out of it. :-(

    Any suggestions?

Oh Gawd! Crimplene! - I remember it well! I also remember mum had a crimplene skirt that creased, she ended up washing it and then *ironing it dry* (on the wrong side).

It seemed to work, but I guess it was just a form of steaming, so maybe will be of no use to you.

oh my...crimplene - the bane of the polyester 60s! The only thing I can think of is what Margaret's mum used to do. Start ironing when the
skirt is still wet and iron away, and away, and away (and have liniment on hand for sore aching muscles)
