Date for Gres silk logo scarf?

Hi everyone. Yet another dating inquiry.

I picked up a beautiful Gres silk scarf at an estate sale and am having trouble placing it. It's a logo scarf, and the only other Gres scarves I've found in my research so far have been more in the vein of nature scenes (exotic birds and plants) in bright colors. This one is a solid red with hand-rolled edges. I'm hoping to determine the approximate age of the scarf, and possibly whether this is as rare as it seems to be? Pictures are attached.

I should add -- the reverse side of the tag states the scarf was made in Japan.

I think your scarf probably dates from after 1987 when the Gres label was sold to a Japanese fashion distributor (ref: the Label Resource). Certainly it looks quite modern and I generally associate that colour plus the logo motif with the late '80s to early '90s.

Plain scarves can be hard to pin down.

It turns out I swapped countries of origin between this and another scarf I was doing some research on! This Gres scarf was actually made in ITALY. The typeface on the label matches others from earlier decades, though I know that doesn't necessarily mean much. Just wondering if the country in which it was manufactured makes a difference to anyone's knowledge?!
