Dating (70s?) funny knit "pair of pears" short sleeve sweater

Hoping you all can help me to date this funny sweater, and also hoping for any info anyone might be able to dig up on the label. I am keeping it to wear but am curious to know more about it.

Also, the pear situation. I see a "punny" joke about a pair of pears but.. am I making that up? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I see 70s. It reminds me of those Les-Cyn novelty sweaters.

It's really cute. I could see one of my grade school teachers wearing it with high waist wide leg pants and oversized glasses with a pink tint.
