Dating a dress and information about label

I am trying to date this dress and get some information about the label. There are two photos of the label, one of each side. Thank you.

It was difficult to get the label in one photo. I’ve taken a couple. Hopefully this helps.

I think it says D I , but then I’m unsure what the next letter is . I believe the last letter is a Y. What about the M.R initials on the tag? Have you heard of that Linn? Thanks.

The fancy font does make it hard to decipher - it looks like DIY to me. And if I am correct, it's going to be extra difficult to find information about the maker. Searching "DIY fashion" leads to hundreds of hits on do-it-yourself clothing.

I did find a Mr. DIY in Thailand, who seems to have multiple outlets there, but no similarity in font.

I don’t think that is an “i” after the “D.” It looks like the backbone of an “R” and I know there is a clothing company by the name DRI (with a curlicue tail on the final letter), but that seems to be later than this dress is.

Alternative and slightly peculiar alternative. Could it be 'DPY' with the p having an elongated curve, then the bottom half reading Mr Fashion?

There are no other labels or tags.

I'm seeing D I Y, with the Y being quite "fancy".
I'm also feeling the possibility of this being a retro but contemporary low-cost import dress...? (Could be wrong on that...)

I looked in the US Trademark site for every iteration that has been suggested here, but found nothing like this. I showed it to my husband and he said the last character especially does not look like an English character. He then searched online and found this Hindi alphabet chart, which while it doesn't have the exact same character, sure looks more like what is on the label:

Along this same train of thought I had a look at different language texts of alphabet letters, I got a bit lost in it (it was fascinating). I couldn't find anything that hit the nail squarely on the head unfortunately. Although I also thought that maybe I was trying to read too much tint it and it might have been a small town store which made it's own clothing and labels?

I would agree. At first glance at the label, that last letter did not strike me as an English character either. If I had to guess I would say it is very similar to characters from southeast Asia. My first thought was Thai but I'm not familiar enough to really pin it down to any specific language/country.
