Dating a springy dress

    Hello. Just wanted to know what the date might be on this cute springy dress. The seams are unfinished. Back metal zipper. The hem looks serged but messy. I don’t think it was home made but it doesn’t have any tags or labels anywhere. Thanks!

    Very cute, looks 50's to me with the wider style sleeve, nipped in waist and pleated skirt, especially with the metal zipper at the back of teh dress. However I am not one of the real experts here :) so will see what they say

    I agree, but really late 50s - 1959ish - maybe even 1960.

    Awesome, I thought I saw a little 60s in there so yay! lol

    I am impressed with those pleats! The pattern is meticulously repeated all around it!

    agree with early 60s, especially with that fabric. really well executed pleat design!! good one!!
