Dating a vintage Ralph Lauren skirt with union label

Hi! I have this Ralph Lauren wool skirt and I'm curious if anyone else can help me narrow down the year.
It has a union label from 1974-1995... but do those numbers stamped on the top of the union label narrow it down at all? 094024

I have seen discussions about using those numbers to date clothing but I don't know if there was ever a definitive answer.

It's such a lovely, classic skirt. I'm seeing early 90s. I'd love to hear what others think.

I also do not understand how that coding works but there are a few experts on here who are very familiar with them. I'd agree with the 90s dating, possibly mid-late 90s.

I agree, those labels make me think it's from the later end of that 74-95 period.
