Dating and naming a short kimono

    there's so much info out there (online) on types of kimonos, I always end up unsure. This one has only a "japan" tag, it is silk. It has these marching people carrying stuff, and the symbol on the back and lettering down each side on the front. Any help is appreciated!

    So colorful! Probably not a kimono in the traditional sense, but one for the tourist market perhaps? You can try searching under 'haori' and see if you find something similar.
