Dating bonnets in an antique sketch

Hi all,

What year would you place the bonnets in this antique sketch? I don't have the original. Its provenance suggests it's pre-1803...

It looks 18th century to me, but I couldn't say which part of the century.

That era is not my forte', but the hats look very much Medieval to Renaissance to me, 1400's to 1500's. The "striped" areas could a roll or escoffien, but the artist is very rough so I cannot tell for sure.

I looked at the sketch before reading your complete question and my first thought was late 1790s -1800: the high bosom, kerchief, volume of hair and high, set back bonnets with gauze 'blinkers' brims. The only figure that threw me off was the youngest lady to the left, which made me question if it was later, but I think she fits in as well, its just that she, and none of the older ladies are dressed high fashion, so fashion plates don't help - you will probably find similar bonnets illustrated in caricatures like Cruikshank.
