Dating green brocade Victorian style dress?

Hi! Does anyone have any info on this dress and what era it is probably from? It’s green brocade with no zippers and only front buttons. Thanks in advance!

That's unusual - any tags at all? It appears the buttons on front are decorative and it closes with hooks?

This dress reminds me of an Ossie Clark dress that my mum has that dates from 1969, so could be very late 60s or early 70s? The deep v-neck, buttons and sleeves are alomst identical! I'm nowhere near being an expert or anything though (the style just looks so similiar I had to throw it out there) but I'm sure you'll have those who know respond soon

The deep plunging neckline and buttoned girdle-like midriff looks early 70s to me, but that type of damask is so 80s-90s, I wonder if it's an early 90s prom or bridesmaid dress, perhaps even made up using a 70s pattern? Or just being nostalgic...

I also saw the fabric as later, so I'm saying 90's made from a 70's sewing pattern.

I see very early ‘90s. The jacquard/damask is very typical of the late ‘80s, it’s probably polyester. The silhouette with the high waist, shaped into the hips returned in ‘89-90 but the lack of shoulder pads puts it into the early ‘90s. If you search, you can probably find a pattern for it.
