Dating lingerie help

Hi all. Picked these items up today in a thrift store and I am clueless about how to date lingerie.

The first is a strapless bra by Delores. It's not in great condition but at 99c I thought it was worth it to learn about it (and bras in general). It does not feel like nylon at all.

The second item is a corset panty thing with buttons and metal hooks. It looks huge but its actually a small. These feel like stiff cotton (but I am terrible with fabrics).

The bra is 1940s. Patent date is 1944. See attached

I think the corset panty is also 1940s but more earlier.

That second item might be a woman's sanitary panty, for "that time of the month" to be worn with pads. Not sure, but I have seen similar.
