Dating St Michael blouse

It's likely to be no earlier than 1968, as that's when St Michael first used care symbols, and probably no later than 1974 when they started to use all 4 care symbols. Made in Great Britain also indicates earlier (in the 70s it starts to be replaced with Made in the UK).
So roundabout late 60s/early 70s, the style looks more late 60s to me, be interested to hear what others say.
What are the numbers on the tiny label beneath the main label? Does it have numbers on both sides?

Thanks so much for the info - the tiny label does indeed have numbers on both sides, 1/ 4556 on one and 68 on the reverse.
okay I dont know exactly what those numbers mean. Some 70s items are dated. Its possible 68 means 1968, but not necessarily.

In my experience of St Michael labels they are usually dated. Although the guide I have from Marks and Spencer only mentions this feature from the 70s onwards, all my 1950s blouses by St Michael seem to be marked with numbers that would match their month and year of manufacture so I'd say it was safe to say this was from June 1968.
