Dating Union Made Kangol Hat

Hello, I have this union made Kangol hat
I was wondering if anyone could help me date it
Any help would be appreciated

It is like a velour/velvet type of fabric
There is a stretch band on the back

 

I *think* this is mid 1990s at the earliest.

 

I agree more modern. Especially with the sizing. Not technically vintage.

 

I did have Kangol from late 1980s but this looks 90s to me, different label, too. Hope this helps.
