Dating vintage Lanz Label on suit

This incredible suit has an interesting Lanz label in it! We love Lanz and have worked with a lot of pieces from many eras from Lanz. This suit is made in a very traditional style, done in a burlap like linen with wooden buttons. There is a label in the skirt that says ' made in Austria' and has side snaps and hook & eye for closure. The jacket has a Lanz label. We did research but yet couldn't exactly pin-point what era this suit was from with this interesting label!

Any information helps!

I have a similar suit and believe it to be traditional Trachen (sp?) wear the buttons are possibly real horn.

Your suit looks 1940s-50s to me.

Yes, looks very much like traditional Trachten wear! Lanz was started as a sport shop, and the label with the address still says "Sport-Lanz" - to me this looks like it would be earlier. By the shape it looks sort 0f 40s-50s to me too. Maybe you could write to them and see if they have any further information or know from when to when they had a shop at that address.

I've never seen a Lanz label without the words "Lanz Salzburg" or Lanz Original". I know this looks late 40s, but couldn't it be a bit earlier, say 1935ish, especially with that snap and hook closure?
