Deliso Shoes - Identify and Size explanation

    I picked these up at an estate sale today but am struggling to identify when these shoes were made.

    The sizing is also confusing to me, it looks like 8B, does the B mean anything?

    B is standard width, A is narrow, C is wide, D is extra wide. There are also AA and AAA for even narrower widths, and DD, and DDD for even wider widths.
    The shoes are c. 1969-1970
