Dress and coat dating help

    Hello :) Found this lovely st an estate sale. Could anyone help with dating it please? It's a velvet material. Wondering if it's '60s or is it newer? I can't find any labels and it has a back metal zipper. Thanks :)

    Looks classic early 1960s to me, probably homemade since it has no labels.
