Could anyone help me date this - is it late 1950s or early 1960s? Or neither?

    Thanks :)

The style looks early 1960s. I love that oversized herringbone pattern, which was popular at that time also.

I, too, think it is early 1960's.

    Thanks all :)

Out of interest, what is it that makes it early 60s, aside from the print? I'd love to be able to look at a dress and have a solid idea about when it's from so any tips would be wonderful :)

The print was a big reason for me, and also the shape of the skirt with the relatively big pleats (which doesn't mean you don't get pleated skirts in the 50s either).
