Dress Dating Help

I have this brown dress with lace detailing. The sleeves are sheer and snap button at the wrists. Sheer overlay with lining underneath everywhere else. There is a front zipper with a hook at the top. No care tag or size.

Hello and welcome to the forums! May I ask what kind of zipper it has - metal, plastic? Could you take a photo of it with the zipper pull? That may hold a few more clues re. dating.

It is a metal TABIT zipper.

I'm thinking 60s as well. I don't have a ton of experience dating vintage before though so I wanted some other opinions

The metal zipper points to older, but otherwise I am really not sure about this one... hoping that some else will chip in!

They used metal zippers through the 60s / 70s but the dress looks late 1960s to me...especially with the lettuce edging.
