Dress Ethnicity Help?

Hi, all. I just got this goddess number. When I look at it, I think "Queen of the Nile" because of the rounded yoke and sinewy drape. It's two layers of puckered, cotton gauze and it's hand-embroidered. No tags. Back, nylon zipper. It may have been U.S.-made--just in a certain, ethnic style. Does someone here have thoughts on what style it may be? I'm hoping the embroidery may be 'tell-tale' in some way.

Oops - only the 2nd pic came up before I posted. Even though the style doesn't say Indian, I think it's a fair bet that the dress was made in India.
