Embroidered Cowgirl Suit

    I recently found a beautiful embroidered and beaded cowgirl vest and pant suit . The label brand is 1/more made in the british crown colony of Hong Kong .Can anyone tell me about the tag or how old this suit is. Thank You, Al

    Can you put in the rn number, I can't quite make out the last digit, that can be of help.

    It looks like a 1960s label.

    Unfortunately the RN number did not lead to any date.

    It is or was an importer, manufacturer, wholesaler located at 530 7th ave, NY.

    Sometimes when you go to the RN database you can get info on the dating of the company which helps, but in this case it did not state anything about that.

    The outfit looks very much like early 1970s.

    Yes that looks early 70s to me too. Although I wouldn't call those beads but studs, and although there is an influence of western wear I wouldn't consider that a cowgirl suit per se. More 1970s glam rock than cowgirl, similar to ones worn by Marc Bolan, and the band The Sweet.

    Yes they are studs - also the buttons that snap together say victory on the inside of the buttons
