Emilio Pucci Faux Fur Coat

Discussion in 'PUBLIC Vintage Fashion - Ask Questions Get Answers' started by shopping-goddess, Apr 9, 2004.

  1. Here's a surprising find.... I haven't even considered coats or sweaters for a few weeks. Bless the little voice that told me to OPEN THE COAT CASE just in case there might be a designer item in it. Faux fur, Emilio Pucci exclusively for Gemini Ltd. It has a serial number I imagine is from Gemini. ? All I can find is that Gemini Ltd. is a Canadian firm, dedicated to bringing high-quality outerwear to the market at an affordable price.

Why, oh why, can't it still be winter? As usual, there's no such thing as packing up and storing until another season here and I have to sell fast. I find a similar, but longer one for $355. on this site. What think ye, considering the season?

    Thanks for your help!

Steph, I have NO idea, but that coat is super cute! I would definitely save it for late summer listing.

Hoping someone has the info for you, as I would like to know more about this!

    Steph,

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the season too much on this one as the Pucci searchers will find it.

Now you have me wondering in the " Made For " it has the initials J.R. ... I wonder who that was. It also has a low serial #, nice !

  4. Thank you, gals! Isn't that little swing to the hips groovy? Mary, I thought the "J.R." was funny, considering that I found it here in ol' Dallas, unfortunately famous for J.R. Ewing, among other unsavory things. Tee hee. I noticed that the online dealer's longer one did have other initials and a higher serial number. I surely hope you're right about the Pucci people finding it anyway. *seeing myself as Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams...*
