Era and Fur on this cashmere Sweater?

This one has me confused for a number of reasons. I would think the collar is fox, but it's not super soft. I would also think the cardigan would be from the 50s, but the bobble on the cuff is put on like a cufflink, only sewn on and I would think there would be more care with a really nice sweater. On the other hand, the fur collar is detachable and reminds me of other 50s sweaters. No other tags other than that shown. Any gut feelings on this one?

It looks 50s to me, Amanda. I have had that same sort of sweater where the adornments appear added after the fact.
