Era help on a Catalina Bikini Please

I'm having a hard time deciding if this swimsuit is 50s or 60s. My 1st impression was 50s but the side seam is only 3 1/2" long. It has buttons at the back and on the straps.
Your help is appreciated.

CUTE! I have seen ruffly bikinis like that in early 60s beach blanket movies - so maybe 1963-64?

I had one just like it in pink. Definetly dating myself.. I say I wore it summer of 64-65.I'd kill to be able to fit in it again.
