Era on this damaged waist coat/vest?

Nicole - the neckline is in bad shape. This thing got worn. But as you say ... for the age.

That's some crazy interesting seaming going on at the neck there! Do you think it's repairs or it just took them that many goes to get the right shape?!
 
Maybe just piecing in as they ran out of fabric and cut the shawl collar too short?

The second tie just puts in the older era of back closures.
