Everything you ever wanted to know about shoes, but were afraid to ask...

NOpe, I have a single shoe from the late 17th century, and yes, I found it on eBay!
I have a few pairs of 18th century shoes but none are in excellent condition - museum quality and a fair number of shoes from the early 19th century but they are either rather plain or in porr condition. The Cuban pair are the first really good, museum quality pair I own.
 
Well, I think that is the official end of the Shoe Workshop.
I will still field questions on shoes over the next while, but tomorrow our next workshop begins, so I hand over the reins to patentleathershoes (ironically) for the next workshop on customer relations.
