Hi all,

I have what I believe to be a 60s satin opera coat by Miss Elliette but I received an inquiry regarding the material of the lining and I am not sure. It is a very sleek and shiny fabric which I would have also called satin but looking at the fabric resource pictures, the satin weave seems to be different. Can you please help me identify it?

Yes, it looks like taffeta to me.

I am trying to get a good look at the weave, and it could also be a faille fabric. But the photos is not clear enough for my eyes to tell.
