When I saw this silk fabric I immediately "snagged" the dress - I thought I had a really vintage garment in my hands. Turns out it's pretty nondescript - it has a metal zipper up the back and simple empire waist lines. Apologies for the one awful photo of the whole thing. It is lined in silk. A reworked older dress? Is this fabric older, or am I showing my ignorance ??? Perhaps it's just meant to look like vintage?
I don't think its necessarily older, but perhaps ethnic? Is it printed or woven? I am wondering if its an Indonesian Ikat?
