Thanks for starting this, Karen! I had the beginnings of a list from the VCA from years back...nice to add to it.

We just saw Miss Pettigrew this weekend and I can't recommend it enough for a light distraction: fabulous 1939 costumes (& lingerie!), fun story, great actors, killer music...and hometown CO girl Amy Adams:cheer:!

The Barefoot Contessa - 1954 Ava Gardner (before the drink got to her) the clothes are amazing!


No dates right now but ALL of the Thin Man films in the series
Ditto, the coat she wears in the 1st film makes you gasp, then she drinks 6 martinis....
