Faux Victor Costa???

I took a couple of stitches out & there isn't an "a" at the end of this name on the label...Could it maybe have been cut off, or could it maybe be an "irregular" label? Or is it FAKE?

I don't know Leisa it does look like it was cut off. I guess if you don't find out about it you can just put your ideas of the label in the description that way they aren't buying something thinking they are getting the real deal.

But I am sure someone will come along with some info for you.

The outfit is at the shop & Evvy won't let me bring anything home to take the pics.
So - I'm stuck with her half mannis or else live models. Reagan thought this would fit her - NOT! - but there isn;t a manni there I can show the pants on.

This is getting to be a real PITA. I'm thinkin it may not be worth the trouble...

That is a cute ensemble, love the color and sparkliness. Her body type looks alot like my own, and well, I don't model for my auctions. Honestly, it would probably sell better on a hanger. (Did I just say that?)

Sounds like you have gotten into a deal that is going to end up being nothing but a pain in the rear. Been there, done that, won't do it again. You are a seasoned seller, if folks want you to sell items for them it needs to be done on YOUR terms, otherwise they can have a go at it themselves.

I don't think Victor Costa is something that's faked --- in fact, aren't most of his eveningwear designs takeoffs on more expensive designers?

I had that same Romantica label in an early 70s Russian inspired Victor Costa maxi dress. That dress is now living with a Russian Princess in Sedona, AZ. ;)

I agree that it's highly unlikely that a Victor Costa label would be faked...expecially since his own clothes were practically copies of other designers. I think this outfit is a real winner and you look gorgeous in it! joey
