Finally! A Fashion Museum in Atlanta. So excited.

This museum opens Oct. 3, and I intend to get there as soon as possible (doing "Sunday In The Park" on the 4th, so likely won't be until later that week or the next weekend). First exhibit features Oscar de la Renta.

As if that's not fabulous enough, the High Museum, normally a wasteland of folk art and enormous post-modern canvasses, is staging its first-ever fashion exhibition, featuring the work of avant garde Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen, of Lady Gaga and Bjork fame, from Nov. 7.

Wow! That is great news, Liza. Wish I could join you, but I'm still in New England. But a trip to Atlanta sounds like fun and what better reason than to see a beautiful fashion exhibit and meet up with another VFG member? Used to visit Atlanta pretty frequently. Will have to try and get up there again soon!
