For cat lovers: a beaded kitty purse

Going up on ebay this weekend:

It's made in Hong Kong. Would you guess the 60s?
 
That is an unusual color combo. To me it has a dayglo quality to it, unless of course the colors are not reproducing on my monitor correctly. from here it looks like a yellow with a bit of a green under tone.

The "made in hong kong" would indicate 60s or after, whereas "handmade in hong kong" would be more 50s, so you are in the right direction on the date. I just have never seen anything like it.

If its 60s, I would be leaning towards late 60s due to the colors but it could be running a little later than that.

Anyone else have input?
 
Early 60s you think? maybe the colors were throwing me off a bit. I just remember my brother's posters that had been from the late 60s that he picked up and am so used to associating the delicate beaded bag colors with the early part.

It might help to know the size. It's 15 inches square, not a tiny purse. Chris, that's interesting about "handmade in Hong Kong" indicating 50s rather than 60s. I didn't know that. You do know your purses, don't you?

I think I might have picked that up from Hollis. I have learned so much about beaded bags here. My bigger area of knowledge before I got here is with Mod-ish handbags, and leather and wood. I DID know somethings about beaded handbags, but my knowledge base has really been expanded here.
