. There are some people out there who are pretty good at adapting patterns size-wise... but not me. I can adapt something that's roughly my size to fit me properly, but it has to have at least one or two measurements that are correct.... What I have found though that these high-waisted 50s/60s pants patterns are fairly generous - it's not just a high waist, it's also a pretty long inseam. A pattern that I though should be fine for my size & measurements turned out to be too baggy for my modern taste.
